The round of the 16 knockout matches in the Milo/Petra Organization Schools Football tournament will commence Saturday and Sunday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue with four fixtures each.
In the opening match of the knockout round at 11:00hrs on Saturday, Dolphin Secondary will face off with St. Mary’s High while at 12:30hrs, South Ruimveldt Secondary will tackle fierce rivals Lodge Secondary in the battle of the genuine title contenders.
At 14:00hrs, North Georgetown Secondary will then face off with a very spirited Queens College unit whilst Charlestown Secondary will lock horns with dark horses Kingstown High in the final match of the day at 15:30hrs.
On Sunday at 11:00hrs, Carmichael Street unit the Bishops’ High will engage North Ruimveldt Secondary in the opening game whereas Christ Church Secondary will oppose Chase Academy in the second fixture from 12:30hrs.
The Marlon Nedd led Carmel Secondary will then battle Queenstown Secondary in the third matchup at 14:00hrs whilst defending champions St. Georges Secondary will look to book their quarterfinal round when they face a youthful Tucville Secondary in the final match of the round of 16 at 15:30hrs.
