Against the backdrop of increasing interest in the implications of the advent of the country’s first ever Credit Bureau as regards relationships between credit seekers and lending agencies, Creditinfo Guyana’s Chief Executive Officer Judy Semple-Joseph said that a team of high-level and internationally experienced experts are due in Guyana shortly to conduct a two-day workshop at the Cara Lodge Hotel. The workshop will be held next Tuesday and Wednesday, March 25 to 26.
The disclosure that Creditinfo Guyana is calling on experts from the Creditinfo Academy to engage local stakeholders, will be seen as an indication that the local Credit Bureau, officially launched last September, is keen to step up its services to the business community. Since the launch of the bureau six months ago public discussion about its role has centred around the confidentiality of personal information.
