The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) 2014 season commences today with first and second division matches at Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) Ground and Malteenoes Sports Ground.
At the GYO ground, the hosts will oppose the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) from 11:00hrs in the lone Noble House Seafoods second-division 2-day fixture with Deon Faessal and Heuvel Cunha umpiring.
In the City Mall Hadi’s World Incorporated first-division two-day competition, Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) will entertain Transports Sports Club (TSC) under the watchful eyes of Ryan Banwarie and Edward Bowen.
Tomorrow, T20 action will be afforded to spectators at Bourda ground as Georgetown Cricket Club hosts the Guyana Defence Force at 13:00hrs in the Carib Beer first-division T20 with Shannon Crawford and Clyde Layne in charge.
