A man is currently hospitalized following accident late last night at Chapel and Victor streets, Lodge.
The man, who was only identified by his nickname ‘Kartel’ lost an arm and sustained injuries to his head, other arm and thighs.
It was around 10 pm Deborah Lansveldt said, while she was inside her home that she heard a loud noise.
She immediately ventured outside and found the man lying on the road.
She said persons told her the driver of the vehicle did not stop after hitting the man, who was riding a bicycle at the time of the accident.
Lansveldt said she believed the injured man lives at the Stevedore Housing Scheme.
