Dear Editor,
I bought an outdoor stove for picnic purposes and tried getting a ten-pound gas cylinder to go with it. It is unbelievable that even one of the gas companies does not have gas cylinders (10 pound) to sell with the gas.
There are a few outlets which have the 10 pound cylinders, but lo and behold, they only sell the gas with the cylinder to someone who goes with an empty one.
What must someone who never owned a cylinder do in order to get a cylinder of gas? I know the company couldn’t care less about you the customer and whether you buy their gas or not. Still, there should be some consideration by these companies that supply the ten-pound cylinders for customers to purchase the cylinders. With every cylinder owned by the customer, it is more business for the company because common logic will tell you that more gas would be sold. It is not always the case that a person will have to purchase the twenty pound if they do not get the ten-pound cylinder of gas to buy.
Could someone say where else a customer can get a ten-pound cylinder of gas to buy?
Yours faithfully,
