A 26-year-old man is hospitalized at a city hospital after he was shot outside the Palm Court Night Club in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
Stabroek News understands that Jamine Thomas of Campbellville was shot to his neck after he left the club sometime around 3:30am Saturday.
Reports are that as Thomas was preparing to start his motor car, a lone gunman, who was the pillion rider of a CG motorcycle, jumped off the bike walked over to the driver’s side of the car and fired four shots into the car.
One of the bullets struck him in the neck and he collapsed on the steering wheel.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital and was subsequently transferred to another hospital.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
