It was a batsmen friendly weekend in the Georgetown Cricket Association second week of competition for the 2014 season as five centuries and seven half centuries were recorded at the various levels of competition at various venue around Georgetown, last weekend.
Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) batsmen were responsible for four of the five centuries recorded and three of the seven half centuries as the club ended a successful weekend of cricket in the city.

At GCC Ground, Bourda, DCC won first innings against their archrivals GCC in a game where Christopher Barnwell returned to form with a
