Easter Fest is set to be held at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence this Easter Sunday with Jamaican artistes Sean Paul and Jah Cure headlining the annual show. Sean Paul is widely accepted as a crossover artiste, majoring in the musical styles of reggae and dancehall which he frequently clashes and even switches it up during his live performances.
He is well loved in Guyana and has just released his sixth studio album ‘Full Frequency’.
Jah Cure is a master of reggae-love art and Guyanese have an insatiable appetite for his music that seems to be greater and greater every time he comes to these shores.
The show starts at 20:00 hrs on April 20 and the organisers, Hits and Jams Entertainment and McNeal Enterprises expect it to be a fun-packed, entertainment filled concert that is inclusive and accommodating to everyone. They are also looking forward to Trinidadians and Surinamese coming for the concert.
“We expect them to respond to this upcoming concert the same way they have responded to previous concerts promoted by McNeal Enterprise and Hits and Jams,” publicist Steve Ninvalle said in an exclusive with The Scene. He reminded that in October last year they promoted the R.Kelly ‘Redemption’ concert which was a major hit. In January they brought John Legend and Beres Hammond for a mammoth show, ‘Night of Love’ which topped the R. Kelly concert in terms of crowd. “We expect an even larger turnout for Easter Fest,” he said.
“Hits and Jams and McNeal Enterprise have one thing in common and that is to provide quality entertainment,” Ninvalle expressed while stating that like all their previous concerts, local artistes will be on show although he did not give a list of who will be presented. He also noted that there is intent to improve on the VIP area and to make all who attend the concert very comfortable.
