Guyana Police Force officer, Joel Blair who was hospitalized after his car crashed into a donkey on the West Coast Berbice public road two weeks ago has been released from Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).
Blair, 24, of Hopetown village, West Coast Berbice was released from the hospital last Friday and is at home recovering, his aunt Karen said.
His wife Kesha said he had left home early that morning for work and less than half an hour later she received a call that he had been involved in an accident.
He was rushed to the Mahaicony Hospital around 7 am after his car slammed into a donkey in Airy Hall, Mahaicony. Blair was later transferred to the emergency unit of the GPH
“He is doing good but is just that he can’t work until he heal up good,” Karen [the only name given] said.
She added that they were grateful that his condition was not life threatening and he was recovering at home.
