School children across the country are in for a three-week vacation to celebrate Easter when the school term ends today.
The Ministry of Education in a press release advised that all schools will close today, April 11, and will reopen on Tuesday May 6.
In an effort to lend support to over 15,000 students writing the Grade Six National Assessment the ministry wished them the “best of luck”. The assessment will be written during the break on April 16 and 17.
Easter tidings were also extended by the ministry, wishing all Guyanese an “enjoyable Easter”
