The Guyana Police Force’s inter-division cricket competiton sponsored by Commissioner of Police (COP) Selall Persaud in collaboration with C. Persaud’s Dental Clinic and Laboratory will get cracking today with four matches each at two venues.
At the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary the Felix Austin Police College will play “A” Division from 09:30am followed by the match between “C” and “E” Division from 2pm.
Over at the Malteenoes Sports Club Ground “G” Division will tackle “D” Division at 9:30am and at 2pm “F” Division will engage Presidential Guards.
The 12-team knockout competition will continue tomorrow also at the Police Sports Club Ground with “B” Division taking on Headquarters from 9:30am while the final preliminary round match will see the Tactical Services Unit (TSU) and the Officers clashing from 2pm.
The competition will continue on Thursday at the Police Sports Club Ground with the final and third place play-off matches set for Saturday at Eve Leary where the presentation of prizes will be done as well.
