Dear Editor,
Please allow me to say to some of our very learned radio and television announcers and reporters that ever since I was a kid attending school, I was taught about the twenty-four hour day.
As I listen to the news day after day I hear thirteen and fifteen and twenty-three hundred hours. Reporters and announcers should be educated and come to the realisation that a day consists of twenty-four hours. I would like Mr Michael Young and his colleagues to take note: 1.00hr, 2.00hrs, 1.01 hrs, 2.01 hrs, not 100.hrs, 200.hrs.
Yours faithfully,
Samuel Saul
