KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC- A popular sports commentator and a high profile entertainment lawyer are among speakers chosen to address this year’s Business of Sports International Conference in Jamaica early next month. NFL commentator and analyst Steve Wyche and Atlanta Sport Media and Entertainment attorney David Cornwell Sr will join power speakers at the conference at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel May 1 and 2.
Wyche, lauded for his wealth of experience, will address the conference on policing commercial and marketing rights at sporting events and protecting them in athletes.
Cornwell, one of the premier attorneys in the United States for professional athletes, coaches and teams will speak on the topic ‘I own my face and intellect: Protecting and monetising your image and intellectual proprietary rights in sport’.
“I am excited, for both gentlemen have undoubtedly the knowledge and experience to ignite the conference,” said Carole Beckford, president of Business of Sport.
The conference, into its fourth year, is hosted by Carole Beckford & Associates and Strategic Corporate Interventions Limited.
