The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at under the auspices of Ministry of Health hosted its first blood drive in effort to raise 20 units of blood at its 198 Oronoque and Lance Gibbs Streets on Saturday. Missionaries attached to the organization and their families, along with local members of the organization, travelled from Branches in Berbice and Linden to lend their support, both by donating or preparing meals for blood donors.
