A woman was yesterday released on bail after denying that she doused a man with gasoline.
Lamaha Park resident Joan Joseph appeared in court yesterday before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, where she pleaded not guilty to the charge.
It was related to the court that on the 25th of April, the woman threw the substance on Thomas Favourite.
Prosecutor Michael Grant raised no objections to bail and as a result Joseph was placed on bail for $40,000 and she was bonded to keep the peace.
Joseph will return to Court 6 on the 27th of May, when the case will be called again.
