Over the last weekend, whilst on a visit to North Rupununi, Region Nine, Minister of Amerindian Affairs Pauline Sukhai handed over to the Wowetta Village Council a cheque valued $1.5M to support the improvement of the village’s eco-tourism, GINA said.
