Employees who interact directly with passengers at Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri are being trained in basic Spanish, as part of the CJIA’s mandate to offer the best quality service to its Hispanic visitors.
The two week workshop, which is being facilitated by the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) and held at the airport’s Conference Room, began on May 6 and concludes on May 15, 2014. This CJIA photo shows Gemma Wenner, Facilitator of the interactive Spanish sessions.
