In yesterday’s edition of Stabroek News under the headline `NOC staff admitted lack of qualifications during 2013 inquiry’, it was reported that one of the staff members Jagnarine Somwar served as the New Opportunity Corps’ Administrator during the incidents there in 2012 and was still employed there. Mr Somar has since pointed out that he left the institution in July, 2013. The report had also said that Somwar spent six years in the GDF. Contrary to what is recorded in the transcript of his interview, Mr Somar said he spent six years in the Guyana National Service.
