Two brothers are in police custody assisting with investigations into the stabbing to death on Monday of a fifteen-year-old in the North Pakaraimas, Region 9.
The dead teen has been identified as Winsley Peters of Bamboo Creek, North Pakaraimas.
Police Crime Chief Leslie James told Stabroek News yesterday that the teen sustained a stab to his chest and also had a laceration on his face.
Stabroek News understands that around 9pm on Monday at Bamboo Creek, Peters and the brothers were involved in an argument when he was cut to his face and fatally stabbed.
Two men, ages 21 and 27, remain in police custody assisting with investigations.
