Digicel sponsors David Rose school Special School’s participation in skip-a-thon: The students of the David Rose Special School recently played a part in a skip-a-ton as a result of sponsorship from Digicel. In a statement, the company quotes hearing impaired lecturer at the school Janel Bishop as saying that it was very entertaining for the students to be part of the competition, where they performed the opening sequence. “They were accustomed to sitting and watching the festivity, but to actually be part of the activity was very exciting some of the students are still dancing. We would like to thank Digicel for making it possible for us to participate in this event,” she said. Digicel said it supports the promotion of physical activity in students since it stimulates growth and leads to improved physical and emotional health.
