In a coordinated effort to further strengthen the delivery of Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) within the Guyanese school system, the Ministry of Education (MOE) in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), CARICOM and a number of other stakeholders, are meeting for two days to review Guyana’s HFLE programme. This two-day activity is being held under the theme, “Revisiting Health and Family Life Education in Guyana: A comprehensive approach to children’s success in the 21st century.” The meeting is being held at at Parc Rayne Houston, a release from the Ministry said today.
