The Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) under-17 match between East Bank and East Coast that was set to play yesterday was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to heavy rainfall.
The game which was scheduled for the Demerara Cricket Club ground will now be played on a date to be announced by the DCB executives. The competition is expected to continue today with Georgetown taking on West Demerara for top honours. Both teams completed comfortable victories in the first two rounds to remain unbeaten in the tournament.
