PhotosCGX Energy presented a sponsorship chequeBy Stabroek News June 3, 2014 CGX Energy presented a sponsorship cheque valued $1.2 million to Queen’s College student Cecil Cox to facilitate his participation in the 2014 Summer Student Programme for Innovation in Science and Engineering (SPISE) at the UWI campus in Barbados. Cox, who topped the Caribbean in the Sciences in 2014, received the cheque from CGX Manager Tarachandra Khelawan at a brief ceremony witnessed by QC Head Teacher Jackie Benn and NCERD representative Petal Jettoo, a press release from the company said. In December 2013, CGX committed to sponsoring participation by Guyanese science students in the SPISE programme at the Cave Hill Campus.
