KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC- Two regional netball powerhouses, Jamaica and Barbados, will contest a friendly three-match warm-up series here next weekend.
Both countries are using the series to fine-tune their preparations for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, next month.
“The Sunshine Girls squad is really looking forward to the opportunity to play Barbados,” said Jill McIntosh, Jamaica’s Technical Director.
“It will provide us with some much-needed match play as some difficult decisions need to be made before the final 12 players to contest the Commonwealth Games is announced on July 2”.
Jamaica’s leading netballer Jhaniele Fowler-Reid, who plays professionally in New Zealand will be home to contest the series.
