The National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), or blood bank on Friday night hosted its annual World Blood Donor day awards ceremony.
At the institution’s compound on Lamaha Street, 100 individuals were honoured via certificates and a small token for their regular act of humanity. In this GINA photo, Pan-American Health Organisation’s (PAHO) representative William Adu-Krow (right) handing over a token to one of the proud donors.
