Leader of the Opposition Brigadier David Granger on Friday 13th June travelled to the Corentyne to pay his respects to the grieving Bagot and Cort family, a release from Granger’s office said today. At the family’s home, Lot 16 Philippi Village, Granger met with surviving relatives, friends and neighbours of Latoya Bagot-18; Wanita Bagot-15 and Shermain Cort-3 years old. After saying a prayer with the family, the Opposition Leader told those gathered that he had not come to apportion blame, but to extend his personal sympathy and condolences on behalf of A Partnership for National Unity, the release added.
