Corentyne Comprehensive High School defeated Manchester Secondary 51-36 when the Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) tourney continued on Friday at the Port Mourant Training Centre (PMTC) hard-court.
Osafa Profitt led the winners with a game-high 22 points. He was assisted by Josiah Hick and Delon Crandon who netted 12 and eight points respectively. Leading the losers with 13 and 11 points respectively were Nicholas Hercules and Nicholas Blair.
In the second match at the same venue, Lower Corentyne Secondary overcame PMTC 40-31. David Hope and Koby Crawford scored 13 and 12 points correspondingly for the winners. Kemo Bess led the home side with 11 points. He was supported by Mark Wong who netted 10 points.
