Guyana’s light middleweight prospect, Simeon ‘Candy Man’ Hardy (13-0, 10 KOs) made light work of Malcolm Terry (6-3, 6 KOs) with a second round TKO win on Saturday at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn.
Hardy, the former WBC CABOFE welterweight titlist was fighting on the undercard of the Ruslan Provodnikov/Chris Algieri main event which was broadcasted by HBO.
‘The Candy Man’ is making a name for himself since plying his trade further north and moving up in weight.
It was his third fight on US soil, in his first two encounters, Hardy stopped journeymen Chad Greenleaf (13-9-1) via a fifth round TKO in Hammond, Indiana and Rahman Yusubov (9-14-0) in the first in Vernon, New York.
