Dear Editor,
It is my belief that only when there is a fatal accident on the West Bank Demerara public road will something be done about its seriously deteriorated state. In particular, there is the stretch leading to the bridge linking Stanleytown to Belle Vue. Here vehicles travelling in opposite directions are forced to occupy the same lane.
From Sisters Village to Patentia, the road is a nightmare for drivers who are forced to pick safe spots.
Will somebody do something before it’s too late?
Yours faithfully,
Krishna Nand Prasad
