Sherona Latchman, a 25-year-old cosmetologist, yesterday paid over more than $20,000 to a representative of DSL Cash and Carry after admitting that she stole two bottles of alcohol from the supermarket by concealing them in her umbrella.
Latchman appeared in a city court charged with simple larceny. It was alleged that on June 3, at the DSL Cash and Carry on Sheriff Street, she stole a bottle of Ciroc, valued $14,224, and a bottle of Absolut Vodka, valued $5, 960.
