Mohendra Persaud is in stable condition at the Woodland Hospital after surviving a brazen attack and robbery which resulted in him being shot twice in the head and once in the leg yesterday morning.
The 48-year-old Edward B Beharry Company Limited salesman was just beginning his day selling stock when at approximately 9:00 hrs a man in his mid-20’s approached and began firing at him. According to the man’s son, Persaud was at Vryheid’s Lust on the East Coast when two men on a motorcycle, who were following the company truck, shot him outside of a grocery store.
