A miner, accused of stabbing his co-worker in the stomach during a row over duties, was yesterday remanded to prison after appearing before a city court.
Charleston Glasgow, of 163 Grove Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara, was charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Gregory Scott on June 24 at Granny Backdam, Omai. He was not required to plead to the charge when it was read to him by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
According to police prosecutor Bharat Mangru, Glasgow and Scott were both miners working in the same camp when, on the
