With effect from tomorrow, motor lorries will no longer be allowed to park along Lombard Street and High Street, between Hadfield Street and Princes Street, Georgetown.
The police said in a press release yesterday that this new measure was part of continuing efforts to deal with traffic congestion on the roadways.
The new parking area for such vehicles will be on the reserve along the western side of the Houston Road, between Meadow Bank Road and the access road to the National Hardware Ltd.
