The Inshan Bacchus horse race meet billed for the Rising Sun Turf Club today has been postponed due to the recent inclement weather.
Recent showers have left the track in an inappropriate state for racing and according to organizers, the event will run off next Sunday once god weather prevails.
When the meet runs off, in excess of $8 will be up for grabs with the feature D1 and Lower event fetching a first prize of an appetizing $1M bounty.
The program me remains unchanged and will see the steeds competing in the following events: the Three-year-old Guyana and West Indies- bred, the F1 and Lower, the G3 and Lower, the H1 and Lower, the I1 and Lower and the J and Lower.
Turfites can also look forward to the introduction of the Two-year-old Guyana and West Indian- bred event.
