Matthew Jack, who was stabbed in a row with cousin over missing household items on June 20, continues his recovery at home, meanwhile his attacker was charged and remanded to prison.
Jack, 18, of Lot 372 ‘A’ Field Sophia, was stabbed several times about his body during an argument with his cousin, who had been accused of stealing items from their home. He was released from the Georgetown Public Hospital on Saturday, according to his sister, Onika Jack.
She further mentioned that the Rayon Mentore, who allegedly stabbed Matthew four times, was arraigned at the Sparendaam on Monday last. Mentore was remanded to prison. She said the family missed the arraignment, because they were not informed. However they later received details of the hearing.
