Top golfers will tee off today as the El Dorado Golf Tournament gets underway at the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) ground from 12:00.
David Mohamed of the LGC expressed his confidence that the tournament will evince exciting plays as the golfers tee-off at noon.
“Golfers are showing great enthusiasm for the game at this time,” Club President Mohamed indicated, “and so we expect the best as they vie for the top trophy and other prizes. At last week’s tournament, even though three brief rain bursts interrupted play, high enthusiasm enabled the golfers to finish the game in good time.”
El Dorado Brand Manager, Larry Wills, on his Company’s part, expressed his desire that the game be a good one for the golfers. He said that “while El Dorado has been involved in sponsoring other tournaments such as the Guyana Open, we are now very pleased to be on board again for the third year sponsoring our own El Dorado Tournament. El Dorado looks forward to continued support of the Lusignan Golf Club”.
Patrons can enter free of cost.
