The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) has named its 14-member ladies squad to compete in the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Cricket Association Under-19 Invitational Tournament 2014 which bowls off on July 10.
The team features some of the country’s most promising female cricketers, who will be under the watchful eye of Coach Clive Grimmond with national player Tremayne Smartt managing the team.
The squad will square off against the women’s teams from countries such as St Lucia, Barbados and hosts Trinidad.
The team reads: Plaffiana Millington, Shirley Boyce, Erica Batson, Teniesha Cort, Shabika Gajnabi, Steffi Rodney, Lashauna Toussaint, Latoya Smith, Mandy Mangru, Odessa Caesar, Nagma Budhoo, Christine Quintyn, Amanda Persaud and Shanna Vanderstoop.
