Former Minister of Agriculture, Navin Chandarpal is seriously ill and is being treated in a United States hospital.
Sources told Stabroek News that Chandarpal had been diagnosed with a serious illness here and after his condition worsened went to the US for aggressive treatment.
Chandarpal, who is also an executive of the PPP/C was once Advisor to former President Bharrat Jagdeo on Science and the Environment.
