The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) is in receipt of another Electrocardiogram (ECG) machine, from United States-based, Operation Dream Catcher Foundation, GINA reported.
The machine which is used to identify cardiac problems was handed over on Tuesday to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the hospital in the presence of its Emergency Response Specialist Dr. Zulfikar Bux and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Michael Khan.
This machine will complement two others that are already at the hospital.
GINA said that the Operation Dream Catcher foundation is a non-profit organisation which was established in September 2009 with the aim of donating equipment to hospitals, health centres and other medical facilities in need.
There are also plans for the team to visit Wakenaam.
