Team Guyana suffered mixed fortunes, winning six while losing three matches on the opening day of the 2014 Caribbean Junior Squash Championships in Hamilton, Bermuda on Sunday.
Makeda Harding opened Guyana’s winning account in the very first match for the local side, defeating Casey Morris of Bermuda 3-1 in their girl’s u-13 divisional fixture.
However, Guyana would then suffer their first defeat of the day in their second matchup as Anthony Islam lost to Barbadian Khamal Cumberbatch
