(Reuters) – The second tropical depression of the Atlantic hurricane season is expected to approach the Leewards and Windwards tonight, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in its latest advisory today.
The depression was located about 550 miles (885 km) east of the Lesser Antilles with maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour (55 kms), the Miami based forecast agency said.
“The depression is expected to degenerate into a trough of low pressure on Thursday.”
