A Werk-en-Rust resident, allegedly caught with two live 9 mm bullets, was remanded to prison yesterday.
Calvin Dover, 28, of Lot 14 Bent Street, Werk-en-Rust denied that on July 22, at Georgetown he had two live 9 mm rounds of ammunition without being the holder of a licence, when the charge was read by Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Dover’s attorney Adrian Thompson told the court that the circumstances involving the charge surround his attendance of a wake, three doors away from his home.
