Always a good corporate citizen, Ansa McAL has once again answered the call of local sporting disciplines.
At the regional conglomerate’s Beterverwagting, E. C. D head office yesterday, its representatives pledged their sponsorship for Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club Emancipation meet on Sunday and outfitted Team Alanis with riding gear.
Under it’s Carib Beer brand, Ansa McAL will sponsor the feature event of the seven race programme to the tune of $1M.
Meanwhile Team Alanis was outfitted with black and yellow racing kits compliments of the Lucozade brand.
Lucozade’s brand manager, Suresh Maikoo spoke highly of Team Alanis.
“They are a young energetic and talented a team on the rise and Ansa McAL under the Lucozade brand is proud to be teaming with team Alanis and we wish the well.”
Team Captain, Paul Choo-We-Nam then thanked Maikoo on behalf of the company for their support. “We appreciate the support from Ansa McAL because they are a great company and this is an opportunity for other sponsors to get involved”.
The team is expected to don their new gear from Sunday in a 40-mile event on the road ways of West Demerara.
