Pepsi Hikers continued in their unbeaten campaign, defeating (+6) St. Stanislaus 11-8 in their division-A matchup when the Noble House Goals Galore Indoor Hockey tourney continued on Thursday at the National Gymnasium.
Aroydy Branford opened the scoring for the winners in the seventh minute with a powerful strike into the left hand corner of the goal. Reggie Harper would then cut the deficit to four goals as he netted in the 11th minute with a first time strike into the roof of the net.
St. Stanislaus would then put his team further ahead two minutes later as Hilton Chester restored their five goal advantage with a sliding finish into the bottom right hand corner.
However, the deficit would be reduced to four goals once more as Branford scored in the 20th minute with a strike into the lower right hand corner of the net.
