A woman was yesterday doused with waste oil by a man in the Ogle Airport parking lot just before she checked in for a LIAT flight at 2:30pm.
The woman, identified as Abigail Austin who was about to leave Guyana for Barbados, was doused with a bucket of waste oil by a man who approached her from the back, as she was uplifting her luggage from a Toyota Spacio which was drenched in oil when Stabroek News visited the scene.

The man who was said to be closely connected to the woman, has been taken into custody. Austin, too, accompanied police to the Sparendaam Police Station to assist with their investigations.
