Recent winner of the recent Wray and Nephew Contender series in Jamaica title Sakima Mullings will be the star performer when the Guyana Boxing Board of Control stages a card this month end.
The card will be staged at Banks DIH Limited Thirst Park and the first bout will be a middleweight contest over six rounds between Kamal `Hitman’ Russell of Jamaica and Winston Pompey, a Guyanese based in Suriname.
The 31-year-old Mullings, winner of the 2014 Contender Series in Jamaica which carried a first prize of two million Jamaican dollars, will fight Guyana’s super middleweight champion Dereck Richmond over eight rounds in a junior middleweight bout.
