Two companies on Tuesday competed to supply millions of dollars in spares to help ensure that government’s fleet of vessels sail smoothly.
With the procuring entity being the Transport and Harbours Department (T&HD), the bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, at the agency’s Main and Urquhart streets office.
The names of the two companies and their respective bids are shown below.
The Ministry of Public Works received expressions of interest from six companies for the road network upgrade and expansion programme.
Provision of consultancy services/designs and supervision for the extension of the maternity building
The Guyana Revenue Authority received two bids for the supply of computer supplies and office equipment.
The Guyana Water Inc. received bids for the supply and delivery of motor control centres for 60Hz frequency conversion at the shelter belt compound
The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce received tenders for the construction of a factory building in Leguan, Region Three
The Ministry also received bids for the supply, delivery and installation of a complete line of chip processing machines.
