S&L Electrical Agency became the latest sponsor to pledge its support towards the successful hosting and running of the Netrockers under-20 tournament.
Yesterday at a simple presentation ceremony held at the entity’s Kitty locale, they donated an undisclosed amount.
The tourney, which is being held in collaboration with the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) will officially commence on Friday. Some 12 clubs have been invited to participate in the championship. General Manager of S&L Electrical Agency Daniel Pemberton said that the company is excited to be on board and looking to continue in assisting the tournament so that it can become an annual event. Receiving the cheque on behalf of the club, Coach Eyon Willis said: “We want to thank S&L for this kind of gesture and we would also like other corporate entities to emulate the same attitude and come on board”.
