The corpse found on the roadway at Susannah Village, Corentyne, on Wednesday, has been identified.
In a statement issued yesterday, police gave the man’s name as Pooran Shewprashad, 64, of Fyrish Village, Corentyne, while saying that investigations were still continuing.
Shewprashad’s body was found at about 9:30 on Wednesday night on the road.
