BASSETERRE, St Kitts, CMC – All-rounder Andre Russell has been called up to the West Indies squad for the third and final One-Day International against Bangladesh starting here today.
Russell’s addition pushes the squad to 14 and is the only change to the unit which contested the opening games in Grenada last week.
The 26-year-old is a lively seamer and a powerful lower order batsman, and is also a brilliant out-fielder.
He has played 35 ODIs, the last of which was against New Zealand on the West Indies tour there last January.
The Windies hold an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series after winning the first game by three wickets and the second by 177 runs.
Monday’s game will be a day/night contest, bowling off at 2:30 pm at Warner Park.
